How fast is fan-out?

Honest budgets, not marketing hyperbole. Here's what happens between your fill and your members' phones.

    Artha polls every connected brokerage on a tight cycle during market hours. Your fill lands on our side within a few minutes of the broker settling it.

    Fan-out

    Seconds

    Once detected, we blast every active subscriber in parallel — push, Discord, and email go out together. Batching keeps this in the low seconds even for thousands of subs.

End-to-end: from your broker fill to your members' phones is typically under five minutes, and often faster.

Why not sub-second?

Brokerages don’t push fills to us the instant they happen — we have to poll for them. Polling every second would burn API quota and get us rate-limited off every broker. A tight polling loop during market hours is the correct tradeoff: fast enough for community copy-trading, cheap enough to run for everyone.

What can slow it down?

  • Broker delay. Some brokers take longer to reflect fills in their read APIs. We can’t see a trade before the broker does.
  • Discord webhook load. Discord occasionally throttles very active servers. We retry with backoff and post regardless.
  • Push delivery. iOS and Android push aren’t instant — Apple and Google set their own delivery windows.
